We’re delighted to be able to be supporting the Orsett-based children’s cancer charity, the MCA Trust. The Michael Charles Adams Memorial Trust offer their honourable support to children with cancer under the age of 22. Their work ranges from the refurbishment of hospital environments, right the way through to premium respite breaks. The MCA Trust is a volunteer run – donation-based Trust, with an astonishing 97.1p to every £1 donated going directly to the children they support!

Orsett Showground is well-drained and has never had to cancel an event due to rain. In the event of torrential rain or hazardous weather, the event organisers will come to a decision in the best interest and safety of all attendees.

Disney Encanto Outdoor Screening, Inflatables, Outdoor Wrestling Show, Mini Golf, Arts and Crafts Stalls, Live Music and DJ will all be on offer at our Fun Day.

There will be a variety of different arts & crafts and entertainment stalls on offer at an additional cost. These additional costs will be donated to the MCA Trust, a children’s cancer charity based in Orsett.

There will be accessible toilets and baby-changing facilities on-site. There will be plenty of sign-posting as well as MCA Trust Representative’s to direct you to the facilities.

Due to private event legislation, we cannot allow our attendees to bring their own food and drink on-site – however, a variety of means-tested food vendors will be available. There will be several cost-effective food stalls catering for a variety of allergies, intolerances and dietary requirements.

Yes. We are allowing dogs on-site on a lead, but if the event organisers deem a dog poses a risk to our attendee’s safety – we will politely ask you to depart. Please do not leave dogs in your car.

Car Parking at Orsett Showground is complimentary for Orsett Family Fun Day Ticket Holders. We will have a team of MCA Trust Volunteers directing you safely to your spot. We look forward to welcoming you on the day!

There are no cash machines at the Orsett Showground. Our vendors will accept both cash and card. Half of all profits made from the day will be donated directly to the MCA Trust – an Orsett-based children’s cancer charity. Thank you for your support and we look forward to welcoming you!

We strive to make the event accessible for individuals with disabilities, but it’s recommended to contact them for specific accommodations or concerns.

There will be a designated security team on-site to ensure the safety of all attendees, and our Family Fun Day is fully compliant with outdoor event regulations. There will also be designated First Aid Stations and Paramedics on-site, again, to ensure the safety of all our attendees.

We are allowing blankets to be brought along to sit on the grass verges throughout the day, but unfortunately cannot allow chairs to be brought in. However, we do have a range of chairs to enjoy the day under the sun on-site if needed!
